Hot Rolled Steel(HR)

Hot rolled steel is the most basic form of steel a mill produces. Our supplier utilizing modern equipment and controlled temperature to produce consistent surface quality, desired uniform mechanical. The stripped are finally pickled (mill scale cleansing )to cleanse the black oxide scale that forms during hot rolling. The main benefits of our hot-rolled steel include opportunities to cut costs , maximised yield etc d

Characteristics

Hot rolled metals generally have little directionality in their mechanical properties and deformation induced residual stresses. Unpickled HR steels are normally unsuitable for painting. The picklling process is done to provides a more even finish and smoother for paintability.

Application

Mostly use for component are drawn parts or require simple bends. It is typically used in applications in which the finish isn’t critical due to its lackluster surface finish. Hot Rolled Steels are used where heavy thickness, strength levels, and formability are required. Applications: Agricultural equipment, automotive components, construction, building components, domestic & electrical appliances, pressure vessels , boilers, ship plate, trucks & trailers, tubes , sections, heavy vehicles equipment , art sculptures....
